Today's Students Are Building Tomorrow's Workforce
One of the most encouraging technology stories in Corpus Christi this summer did not come from a new software company or a major business investment. It came from a classroom filled with young students learning how to code, build robots, and fly drones.
Del Mar College's CodeIT Camp is giving middle school students an opportunity to explore technology through hands on projects that develop critical thinking, teamwork, and problem solving skills. Those experiences may seem small today but they can have a lasting impact on the future workforce of the Coastal Bend.
For local businesses this matters.
